Árcédula feed for Shopify
Árcédula.hu is a Hungarian price comparison site that bills per click from a prepaid balance, and it reads a feed from your URL in its own thirteen-field format. Feedflock renders your Shopify catalog into that XML (one product per variant, the five mandatory fields filled, availability in the camelCase enum) and keeps the file fresh on a stable URL, because an unreachable feed is one of the four reasons Árcédula suspends a partner.

Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Register as an Árcédula partner
Sign up on the partner portal. Árcédula decides whether to accept each registration, and nothing is listed until your prepaid balance is positive. When it runs out, your products come down.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Pick the Árcédula template
Create a new feed and choose the Árcédula.hu template. The five mandatory fields (identifier, manufacturer, name, url and price) are mapped from the start, GTIN fills from the barcode and availability follows your Shopify stock.
Set delivery and categories deliberately
deliveryPrice and deliveryTimeInDays stay empty until you set them: 0 declares free delivery and a day count is a promise. Give products a precise category path joined with >, because Árcédula's staff file whatever the GTIN does not classify automatically.
Paste the feed URL
Copy the hosted URL into the partner portal under Termékek → Feedek. One shop can register several feeds, and Árcédula refreshes the prices on its side nightly.

Catch feed issues before Árcédula does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.

The channel
Pure pay per click
Árcédula bills clicks only, settled from a prepaid balance you top up; there is no commission on the sale itself. You control the spend, and the listing pauses when the balance runs out.
GTIN gets you classified
Send the GTIN and most products are sorted into the right category automatically. Without one, Árcédula's staff file the offer by your category path. A good barcode is the fast lane into the catalogue.
Already on Árukereső or Google?
Árcédula reads Árukereső-format and Google product feeds as documented alternatives, so an existing file can open a second Hungarian channel. A dedicated native feed adds specifications, exact availability and delivery data.
The feed
- The five mandatory fields (identifier, manufacturer, name, url and price) are mapped from the start; the identifier is your SKU with the variant ID as a fallback, and any text is accepted
- One <product> per variant with the variant title in the name, exactly as Árcédula's own examples list three storage sizes of one phone as three separate products
- Prices go out as bare whole forints, gross, the shape every example in the spec uses; the format has no VAT or net-price element at all
- Availability speaks the closed camelCase enum (inStock, orderable, outOfStock), derived from Shopify stock, never the in_stock the spec's own summary table misprints
- deliveryPrice and deliveryTimeInDays stay empty until you set them, because 0 declares free delivery and a day count is a promise. Set one flat rate for the feed or per product from a metafield
- Variant options become <specification name=… value=…> pairs and the gallery fills the <images> wrapper: the extra data Árcédula uses when no other shop supplies it
- The generation check lists every product missing a mandatory field (a blank vendor, an unpublished product with no URL) before you paste the URL into the portal
- A hosted URL that regenerates every hour and keeps answering: an unreachable data file is one of the four suspension triggers in Árcédula's terms
Deep dive
How Árcédula reads your feed
- You paste the feed
URLin the partner portal, under Termékek → Feedek; one shop may register several feeds - Árcédula fetches the file from your
URL; its terms refresh the prices on the site nightly - Registration is reviewed, and products are only listed with a positive prepaid balance
- An unreachable feed file is one of the four automatic suspension triggers
Technical details
Árcédula pulls your products from a feed URL you set in the partner portal under Termékek → Feedek, and one shop may register several feeds, so a split catalog is allowed. The spec says the feeds are re-read from time to time; the terms put a number on the visible part: prices on the site refresh nightly, with a delay it does not exclude.
Two conditions sit outside the feed itself. Registration is reviewed (Árcédula decides whether to accept it), and nothing is displayed without a positive prepaid balance: when it runs out, the products come down. And the file must keep answering: an unreachable data file is one of the four suspension triggers in the terms, alongside false or misleading data, malware and the empty balance. Feedflock hosts the file on a stable URL and regenerates it every hour, so both the freshness and the availability hold.
Thirteen fields, five mandatory
- Kötelező (mandatory): identifier, manufacturer, name, url, price
- The identifier is any text (a number, a
SKUor aUUID) as long as it is unique in your shop - The brand may stay in the name; Árcédula's own examples put it there
- Their tracking tip: add a parameter like ?from=arcedula to the
URL
Technical details
The whole vocabulary is thirteen fields, and the field table marks five of them Kötelező: identifier, manufacturer, name, url and price. The identifier is your own unique id for the offer and it does not have to be numeric; their examples run a plain number, a SKU-style code and a UUID. Unlike some of its neighbours, Árcédula does not ask you to keep the brand out of the name; its own examples ship “Apple iPhone 13 mini” beside a manufacturer of “Apple”.
The URL is where the click lands, and Árcédula's own tip is to add a tracking parameter to it (?from=arcedula) so you can tell its clicks apart in your analytics. Feedflock's default deep-links each variant with ?variant=, and you can add the source parameter in the same template.
Whole forints and three availability values
- price is the gross price in forint: a bare number, no currency, no decimals, no
VATelement anywhere - availability is a closed enum: inStock, orderable, outOfStock, in camelCase, whatever the summary table's misprint says
- deliveryPrice is one gross number per offer and 0 declares free delivery; deliveryTimeInDays is a count of working days
- Both stay empty until you set them, because a guessed 0 would claim free shipping for every offer
Technical details
The price is “the gross price of the product in forint”: a bare whole number, no currency suffix, and there is no VAT or net-price element in the format. The availability enum has exactly three camelCase values: inStock, orderable, outOfStock. The spec contradicts itself once here: the summary table's example column prints in_stock, but the status table and all three format tables say inStock, and that is what Feedflock sends, derived from your Shopify stock.
Delivery is two numbers per offer, both gross forints: deliveryPrice, where 0 explicitly means free delivery, and deliveryTimeInDays, a count of working days, not a phrase. Because a guessed value is a promise to every shopper, the template leaves both empty until you set a rate you actually charge.
Three formats, one vocabulary, plus two borrowed ones
JSON,XMLandCSVcarry the same thirteen fields;CSVdrops the specifications, so the template emitsXML- No
CDATAanywhere: values are entity-escaped, matching Árcédula's own sample - Árukereső-format feeds work as an input, but there the delivery time derives the stock status
- Google product feeds work too, with preorder and backorder read as empty
Technical details
Árcédula accepts JSON, XML and CSV with the same thirteen property names, each with a worked example on its one-page spec. The CSV form cannot carry specifications at all, which is why the template emits XML: a bare <products> root with one <product> per offer, values entity-escaped rather than CDATA-wrapped, exactly like the spec's own sample.
Two documented alternatives let you reuse what you already run. An Árukereső-format feed is accepted field for field, with one twist: it has no stock field, so Árcédula derives availability from the delivery time. A Google product feed is mapped too, but preorder and backorder are not compatible and are read as empty. The native feed remains the only one that carries specifications, the three-state availability and both delivery numbers.
The takeaway
One URL, an hourly refresh and XML written field for field from Árcédula's own spec page. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth, and the file stays reachable, which is what the listing depends on.
