Árgép feed for Shopify
Árgép.hu is Hungary's price-comparison portal, and the same feed also runs its Google Shopping CSS. It pairs your offers by the manufacturer's part number and brand, not by the name, and it reads a dot as a thousands separator, not a decimal point. Feedflock renders your Shopify catalog in the twelve elements of Árgép's live spec sample and keeps the file fresh on a stable public URL.

Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Register with Árgép
Apply through Árgép's registration form. Onboarding is manual: their team reads your file against the sample and relabels the column headers for your shop.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Pick the Árgép template
Create a new feed and choose the Árgép.hu template. Termeknev, Ar and Termeklink (the three required elements) are mapped from the start, and Gyarto and EAN fill from the vendor and the barcode.
Fill the pairing data
Map Cikkszam to your MPN metafield: Árgép pairs offers on the part number and the brand together. Keep the brand out of the product name, because Árgép prepends it automatically.
Hand over the feed URL
Copy the hosted URL into your Árgép registration. Feedflock regenerates the file every hour on the same address, and the feed's UTM options add the tracking parameters Árgép asks for.

Catch feed issues before Árgép does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.

The channel
Two channels from one file
The same feed runs Árgép's price comparison and its own Google Shopping CSS. The spec marks a separate requirement level for each, and Feedflock's template covers both.
Hungary's own comparison portal
Árgép.hu, run by guenstiger.de GmbH, is where Hungarian shoppers compare prices in forints. Every click comes from the market you price and ship for.
Pairing you can control
Offers pair to the catalogue on the MPN and the brand, helped by the EAN. Fill the three fields and your offer lands on the right product card, instead of depending on name matching.
The feed
- A template written against Árgép's live spec sample: the twelve elements in its order, text values in CDATA, the price and shipping cost as bare numbers
- Termeknev keeps the brand out (Árgép prepends it automatically) and appends the variant, so every size and colour is its own distinct offer
- Prices rounded to whole forints: to Árgép a dot is a thousands separator, so a Shopify-style “749.90” never leaves the app
- The pairing trio fills itself: Gyarto from the vendor, EAN from the barcode, Cikkszam from an MPN metafield
- Descriptions go out stripped of HTML and line breaks and cut at 5,000 characters, exactly as the spec asks
- Delivery time as working-day text from the spec's own examples, sent only for variants that can actually ship; SzallitasiKoltseg sends 0 for free shipping or stays out so Árgép shows the fee set at registration
- The readiness check flags missing required elements, over-limit fields and wrong-digit EANs before the URL goes to Árgép
Deep dive
One file, two channels
- Árgép.hu is a Hungarian price-comparison portal that also runs a Google Shopping
CSSon the same feed - The spec's column table marks a separate requirement level for the comparison and for Google
PLA - Only the name, the gross price and the product
URLare required for the comparison; theCSSalso requires brand,MPN,EAN, description, photo and delivery data - The file (
XMLorCSV) must live at a constantURLthat Árgép pulls
Technical details
Árgép.hu, run by guenstiger.de GmbH from Hamburg, is a Hungarian price-comparison portal, and one hosted feed serves two channels, because Árgép also runs a Google Shopping CSS on the same file. Its spec carries a separate requirement level for each: for the price comparison only Terméknév (name), Ár (gross price) and Termék URL are required, while the CSS makes the brand, MPN, EAN, description, photo and delivery data required too.
The file (XML or CSV) must be reachable online at a constant address and kept up to date; Árgép fetches it from there. Árgép does not publish how often it fetches, so Feedflock regenerates the file every hour on the same URL: whenever the fetch happens, it reads current prices and stock.
Pairing runs on the MPN, not the name
- Offers pair to Árgép's catalogue on Cikkszam (the manufacturer's part number) and Gyarto (brand) together, helped by
EAN - The brand must stay out of Termeknev: Árgép prepends it automatically, the opposite of Heureka
- The
MPNgoes in without a brand prefix; theEANis 8, 12 or 13 digits - No
MPN? Your internal reference is allowed, at the cost of a weaker product list
Technical details
Árgép pairs your offer to its catalogue on the combination of the manufacturer's part number (Cikkszam) and the brand (Gyarto), with the EAN helping the match. That is the opposite of Heureka, which pairs on the name: on Árgép the brand must stay out of Termeknev, because it is shown automatically in front of it, and the MPN goes in without a brand prefix (“AN01-B”, not “ACME AN01-B”).
The EAN accepts EAN-8, UPC-12 and EAN-13; a 14-digit GTIN, or a barcode padded with a leading zero, does not fit. If you have no MPN at all, Árgép's FAQ allows your internal reference in its place, but warns it produces a weaker product list. Feedflock fills Gyarto from the vendor, EAN from the barcode and Cikkszam from an MPN metafield.
Prices and shipping in whole forints
- Ar is the gross price in
HUFwithout any extra text - A dot is a thousands separator to Árgép, so never send a Shopify-style “749.90”
- SzallitasiKoltseg is one value per offer; 0 means free shipping
- Omit it and Árgép shows the fee from your registration, which does not update when your shop's rates change
Technical details
Ar is the gross, VAT-inclusive price in forints, without any extra text. Árgép accepts several forms (“19900”, “19900 Ft”, “19.900,00”), but in all of them a dot is a thousands separator, so a Shopify-style “749.90” is ambiguous at best. Feedflock's default rounds the price to a whole forint and sends a bare integer, the first form Árgép lists.
Shipping is one value per offer in SzallitasiKoltseg: 0 means free shipping, and the same number forms apply. If you leave the element out, Árgép shows the shipping fee you gave at registration, and that figure does not follow your shop, so when your rates change, the fee on Árgép stays stale until you update it. There are no carrier codes and no cash-on-delivery variant.
A delivery promise in working days
- SzallitasiIdo is working-day text: “azonnal”, “1-3 munkanapon belül”, up to “2 héten belül”
- Vague terms like “szállításra kész” are no longer legally permitted, and “raktáron” is discouraged
- The
XMLvocabulary has no stock element: availability is the delivery time - Sold-out variants can stay in the feed without a delivery time, or leave it in the product selection
Technical details
SzallitasiIdo carries the delivery time as free text in working days. The spec's own examples run from “azonnal” (immediately) through “1-3 munkanapon belül” to “2 héten belül”. Vague phrasing such as “szállításra kész” or “várható” is no longer legally permitted, and even “raktáron” is discouraged. Feedflock's template suggests only the spec's five examples and, by default, sends the time only for variants that can actually ship.
Árgép's XML vocabulary has no stock element: the stock column exists only for the Google Shopping channel, and its XML name is not published. So availability is expressed through the delivery time: a sold-out variant simply goes out without SzallitasiIdo, and if you would rather not list it at all, the feed's product selection can exclude it.
The takeaway
One URL, an hourly refresh and the twelve elements of Árgép's own spec sample, with the pairing fields filled and prices in the form Árgép actually reads. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth for both the comparison and the CSS.
