MALL Partner feed for Shopify
MALL Partner is the seller programme of the former MALL Group, now part of Allegro. Today it runs on two sites: Mall.hr in Croatia and Mimovrste.com in Slovenia. It is a catalogue marketplace: you create the product record, MALL checks it, and it then lives on the storefront as a product card. Feedflock builds both files MALL asks for from your Shopify catalog, the MALL XML product feed and the separate availability feed with stock, and hosts each on its own URL for MALL to fetch on schedule.

Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Open your MALL Partner account
Sign the contract and set up the partner portal for Croatia or Slovenia: a carrier for both package sizes, your warehouse address and closing times. New partners start in a testing phase, and MALL checks products before they are published.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock, images and tax settings directly through the Shopify API.
Create the product feed
Choose the MALL Partner product feed template. IDs, titles, descriptions, barcode, price, VAT, images and weight are mapped from the start, every variant is its own ITEM grouped by ITEMGROUP_ID, and STAGE stays at draft while you are onboarding.
Fill in MALL's own codes
Three values cannot come from Shopify. CATEGORY_ID is a MALL category code from the public category export for your country, BRAND_ID is the brand code you find or request in the portal under Products, Brands, and TARIC_CODE is the 8-digit customs code of the goods.
Add the availability feed and connect both
Create a second feed from the MALL Partner availability template. In the portal's Feeds section, enter each URL in its own field under Feed Settings, save, and then press Assign for processing. Pick the fetch intervals before you go to production.

Catch feed issues before MALL Partner does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.

The channel
Croatia and Slovenia, one structure
Mall.hr and Mimovrste.com both sell in euros and both read the same MALL XML structure. Only the data changes by country: the category tree, the parameter values and the VAT rate.
Your product, your card
MALL has no shared catalogue to pair into. You create the product record under your own ID, MALL checks it before publishing, and variants share one product card on the storefront.
Stock travels on its own fast lane
MALL fetches the product feed every 6, 12 or 24 hours and the small availability feed every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Stock stays current without resending the whole catalogue.
The feed
- The product feed emits MALL's elements in the exact order of MALL's own sample feed, because MALL's validation rejects a feed whose elements are out of order
- Optional elements with no value are left out completely, never sent as empty tags: on MALL every element without a value is an error
- TITLE is the plain product title without the brand, since MALL puts the brand in front itself, and every variant is its own ITEM tied to its siblings by ITEMGROUP_ID
- LONGDESC carries your HTML description as escaped text, the form MALL's schema expects, and STAGE defaults to draft, the only value MALL accepts during onboarding
- PRICE is the price including VAT, VAT is a whole number resolved from your Shopify tax settings for the feed's country, and RRP is rounded to a whole number from the compare-at price
- The availability feed uses the same variant IDs as the product feed, keeps sold-out variants in the file with IN_STOCK 0, and holds the count inside MALL's range of 0 to 9999
Deep dive
Where MALL Partner runs today
- Mall.hr (Croatia) and Mimovrste.com (Slovenia), both in
EUR MALLPartner in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary ended on 31 December 2024- mall.cz, mall.sk and mall.hu now redirect to Allegro
- One feed structure for both remaining countries
Technical details
If you remember MALL as a Central European marketplace, the map has changed. MALL Partner ended in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary at the end of 2024, and those domains now redirect to Allegro. The programme continues on two sites, Mall.hr and Mimovrste.com, and the partner portal offers a login for exactly those two countries.
For a Shopify merchant that means this feed makes sense when you sell to Croatia or Slovenia. The structure of MALL XML feeds is the same for both; what differs is the category tree, the wording of parameter values, which must be in the local language, and the VAT rates MALL accepts.
Two feeds, two URLs, two schedules
- Product feed: everything about the product except stock
- Availability feed: ID,
IN_STOCKandACTIVE, all three mandatory - The availability
URLmust not be the same as the product feedURL - Saving the
URLis not enough: Assign for processing starts the import
Technical details
MALL does not accept stock in the product feed. Inventory goes into a separate availability feed with three mandatory elements per row: the ID, which must match the product feed's ID exactly (the variant ID, never the group), IN_STOCK as a whole number up to 9999, and ACTIVE. The product feed is fetched every 6, 12 or 24 hours, the availability feed every 15, 30 or 60 minutes, and you choose the intervals in the portal.
Both feeds must be reachable online as XML in UTF-8; MALL does not accept FTP. You paste each URL into its own field in the portal's Feed Settings. One step trips up many new partners: the Save changes button only stores the URL, and the feed is processed only after you press Assign for processing. Feedflock hosts both files on stable URLs and regenerates them as often as every hour.
Three codes only MALL can give you
CATEGORY_ID: a code from the public export-HR.xlsx or export-SI.xlsx, column Product type idBRAND_ID: the brand's technical code from the portal, or a new brand request (2–3 working days)TARIC_CODE: the 8-digit CN customs code, validated againstMALL's list- Each category also has mandatory sorting parameters, and
MALLdoes not validate them
Technical details
CATEGORY_ID is not a path or a name but a MALL code such as ED006. MALL publishes its category trees for Croatia and Slovenia as two Excel exports in its knowledge base, open to anyone without a login, with well over 1,600 usable category codes each. You map your product types to those codes once. An unknown code is rejected outright.
BRAND_ID is the technical code of the brand, not its name. You look it up in the partner portal under Products, Brands, or press Create a brand for one MALL does not carry yet, which usually takes two to three working days. The template fills BRAND_ID from the Shopify vendor, which is correct only when the vendor equals MALL's code; otherwise set the code per brand. Beyond the codes, every category has sorting parameters that MALL does not validate: a product with wrong or missing ones is accepted and then simply never appears on the site.
A strict XML, checked one error at a time
- Element order matters, and an empty element is always an error
MALLstops at the first error in a product, so fixing a feed takes several rounds- A duplicate ID is silent: one product loads, the rest are ignored without a log entry
- Text limits:
TITLE200,SHORTDESC300,LONGDESC13,000 characters; over-long values are rejected, not shortened
Technical details
MALL validates the product feed against a schema. Elements out of order or a missing mandatory element produce a validation error, and any element without a value counts as an error too: an optional element has to be removed completely. The template follows the order of MALL's own sample feed and writes optional elements only when they have a value.
Errors show in the portal under Feeds, Statistics, one per product at a time: MALL checks a product until it finds the first problem and moves on, so a second error only surfaces on the next run. Two failures leave no trace at all. A repeated ID loads once and the copies are dropped without a log line, and wrong category parameters hide the product without any message. Images have their own rules: at most 20 per product, at most 2 MB and 2000 × 2000 px each, on a white background.
Prices in the feed, delivery in the portal
PRICEincludesVATand must be greater than 0; it must not include commissionVATis a whole number that has to match the ratesMALLallows for the country- Carriers, delivery prices, cash on delivery and free shipping are set in the portal
- The feed adds only
PACKAGE_SIZE, weight andDELIVERY_DELAY
Technical details
PRICE is the price including the VAT of the country you sell in, and VAT goes next to it as a whole-number percentage that MALL checks against its own list for that country. There is no currency element: the currency is the site's, and both sites use the euro. RRP, the recommended retail price, is optional in the template and sent as a whole number.
Nothing about delivery cost travels in the XML. Carriers, price or weight levels, the cash-on-delivery surcharge and the free-shipping threshold live in the portal's delivery settings. The feed only says which transport a product pairs with: PACKAGE_SIZE smallbox or bigbox, the weight for weight-based levels, and DELIVERY_DELAY, where 0 means the portal's transport setting applies.
The takeaway
Two URLs, one for the product feed and one for availability, both built in the structure MALL's portal expects and fetched on the schedule you pick. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth for Mall.hr and Mimovrste.com, and the codes only MALL can issue are the one thing left for you to fill in.
