Rue du Commerce feed for Shopify
Rue du Commerce, “l'e-commerce à la française”, is an established French marketplace in the Carrefour group, running on the Mirakl platform. Selling there means two files: a products file with your content in French and an offers file with price and stock, each hosted on its own URL and pulled every hour once the connector is set up. Feedflock builds both from your Shopify catalog in Mirakl's semicolon CSV and regenerates them every hour, so every pull reads current data.

A crossed-out price is a pair of columns.
Rue du Commerce's own guidebook puts it in one sentence: to display a crossed-out price, fill column F (price) and column N (discount-price). So price carries the regular price (the compare-at price while the variant is on sale) and discount-price the sale price, always lower. A start and end date can bound the promotion; left empty, it runs until you change it. Drag the discount and watch the pair behave exactly as the import expects.
Catch feed issues before Rue du Commerce does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.
Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Register on the marketplace
Fill in Rue du Commerce's registration form. The shop is created automatically once the form is complete. KYC documents are accepted in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch; other languages need an English translation.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Create the products feed
Choose the Rue du Commerce template. The seven mandatory columns from its own guidebook (Category, SKU, EAN, Title, Description, Brand, Picture URL) are mapped from the start, and the title goes out without the brand, which Rue du Commerce adds itself.
Have the hourly pull wired up
Ask Rue du Commerce's merchant service to set up the HTTP connector with the feed's URL: one link for products, one for offers. Mirakl then fetches the files every hour and updates the catalogue when they change.
Add the offers feed
Create the Rue du Commerce Offers feed: the regular price, quantity, the optional discount-price with its date window and the lead time to ship. Import the products first (offers attach by EAN) and keep sold-out variants in the file with quantity 0.

French e-commerce with Carrefour behind it
Rue du Commerce brands itself “l'e-commerce à la française” and today belongs to the Carrefour group: an established French marketplace with its own buyer base, not a resale channel.
You pay per sale, not per click
There is no click bidding: Rue du Commerce takes a commission per category, with the rates visible in your account. VAT is collected by Rue du Commerce on products and shipping, and payouts run through Mangopay.
An operator that documents itself
Rue du Commerce publishes its own 117-page marketplace guidebook (the mandatory columns, the hourly pull and the refusal grounds are in it), and its merchant service helps you wire the connector.
The feed
- A template pair for the two files: the products feed with the seven mandatory columns Rue du Commerce's own guidebook names, and the offers feed with price, stock and the crossed-out-price pair
- Both files are Mirakl's semicolon CSV with a header line, hosted on stable URLs for the hourly pull the merchant service sets up
- The title goes out as the plain product name. Rue du Commerce adds the brand itself, and a replacement rule strips it from Shopify titles that carry it
- The crossed-out price ships as the guidebook's pair: the regular price in column F, the lower discount-price in column N, with an optional date window
- Sold-out variants stay in the offers file with quantity 0, because Mirakl's normal import never deletes a row that goes missing
- Both files share one product selection, so no offer points at an EAN Rue du Commerce does not know and the “product does not exist” error stays out of your import report
- A readiness check flags empty mandatory fields before the feed ships, so the per-import integration report stays short
Deep dive
Products and offers are two files
- The products file carries the content; the offers file carries price, stock and discounts
- Products must exist before offers attach: an unknown
EANfails with “The product does not exist” - Each file gets its own
URL: one link for products, one for offers - Once the connector is set up, Mirakl pulls both every hour
Technical details
Rue du Commerce runs on Mirakl, which splits the catalogue in two: the products file with your content and the offers file with your price, quantity, discount window and lead time. Products have to import first: an offer whose EAN matches nothing in the catalogue fails with “The product does not exist”.
The transport is a pull, not a push: you host each file on its own URL, the merchant service activates the connector, and from then on Mirakl fetches both files every hour and updates the catalogue whenever they change. Feedflock builds both files from the same product selection, so the pair always matches.
The products file: seven mandatory columns
- The guidebook names them: Category,
SKU,EANcode, Title, Description, Brand, PictureURL - Per-category attributes come from the account's generated Excel template, up to 100 categories per file
- The mapping wizard adapts your file's column layout to Rue du Commerce's framework
- Every import produces an integration report, with the error in the last column
Technical details
Rue du Commerce's own marketplace guidebook names the mandatory set for a product file: Category, SKU, EAN code, Title, Description, Brand and Picture URL. Feedflock's template maps all seven from the start: SKU from the variant, EAN from the barcode, brand from the vendor.
Everything beyond the seven depends on the category: the account's generated Excel template (My Inventory → Import by file) carries the per-category attribute set, up to 100 categories per file, and the mapping wizard under My Account adapts your file's layout to their framework. Each import produces an integration report. Read it on the first run and reconcile.
Content rules with a published refusal list
- Titles and descriptions must be in French: a foreign language is a refusal ground
- The title must not contain the brand; Rue du Commerce adds it automatically
- The brand is mandatory and must be on Rue du Commerce's own list. An unlisted brand is created on request
- Images must match the product: no logos, no warranty or delivery text baked in
Technical details
The guidebook publishes the refusal grounds, which is rare enough to be worth reading. Content is French only. The brand is mandatory, must come from Rue du Commerce's own brand list (the merchant service creates a missing one on request) and must not appear in the title, because it is added automatically.
The description has to be genuinely long and detailed; “the long description is empty or provides very little information” is a refusal ground. Images must be good quality and match the product: no blurred or too-small photos, no logos, no warranty or delivery text baked into the picture.
The offers file: price, stock and the crossed-out pair
- price (column F) carries the regular price: the compare-at price while the variant is on sale
- discount-price (column N) is the sale price, always lower, with an optional date window
- A sold-out variant stays in the file with quantity 0: a
NORMALimport never deletes a missing row - leadtime-to-ship is the only delivery column; shipping methods are configured per logistic class in the account
Technical details
The crossed-out price is the guidebook's own example: fill column F (price) with the regular price and column N (discount-price) with the sale price, always the lower of the two. Discount start and end dates can bound the promotion; left empty, it runs until you change it.
quantity is the stock count, and a sold-out variant belongs in the file with an explicit 0: the import runs in NORMAL mode, which updates the rows it finds and never deletes an absent one, so a dropped row would keep its last quantity live. The offer's condition (state) is mandatory when creating an offer. Read the valid codes from your account's dropdown.
The takeaway
One products URL and one offers URL, pulled every hour by Rue du Commerce and regenerated every hour by Feedflock from templates that already speak Mirakl's CSV: in French, without the brand in the title, with the crossed-out price as the F+N pair the guidebook asks for.
