A full Google Shopping template, image gallery included

The Google Shopping XML template now covers the full field set, and every product's whole image gallery flows into the feed, one element per image.

The Google Shopping template grew from a minimal field set into a full one: the complete g: namespace mapping with the attributes Merchant Center actually grades (identifiers, condition, shipping, product highlights and the rest), so a feed built from it passes review without a field-mapping session first.

Images changed with it. The feed used to send the main image plus a capped set of extras; now the whole gallery goes in by default, one additional_image_link element per image, the way the spec intends.

More of the product shows up in Shopping ads and free listings, and every other channel that accepts multiple images benefits from the same change without any extra mapping on your side.
