Fnac feed for Shopify
Fnac, the Fnac Darty group's marketplace, runs on the Mirakl platform across four markets: France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. Selling there means two feeds per market (a products file with your content and an offers file with price and stock), and each market is its own Shop ID. Feedflock builds both from your Shopify catalog in Fnac's semicolon CSV, hosts them on stable URLs the account pulls about once a day, and regenerates them every hour.

You pay per sale, and the rate depends on the category.
Fnac doesn't bill clicks. It takes a commission on every sale, 6–16 % by category, plus a monthly subscription of 39.99 € excl. VAT, charged once you have sales (published terms; confirm the current ones in your account). Pick an end of the range and see what a sale actually pays out: the commission comes off the price in your offers feed, which Fnac floors at 0.89 €.
A discount is a second price with a calendar.
In the offers file, price carries the regular price (the compare-at price while the variant is on sale) and discount-price the discounted one, always lower, with a start and end date. Fnac's real promotions are operator attributes configured in the account, and a “sales” promo must fall inside the legal French sales periods; the columns here are the plain date-bounded discount, floored at 0.89 € like any Fnac price.
One main image, one extra. The rest stays in Shopify.
Fnac's import wants the main image (Visuel principal, required content on every product) and takes secondary visuals on top; the account's own template documents up to four. As configured, the feed sends the first gallery image after the main one. Anything beyond it has no column.
Catch feed issues before Fnac does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.
Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Register on the Fnac Darty marketplace portal
Sign up at fnacdartymarketplace.com. The requirements: registration in your country's Trade Register, VAT compliance and, the real gate, after-sales service handled in French, whatever market you sell on.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Create the products feed for one market
Choose the Fnac template and the market: one feed pair serves one market, because Fnac allows only one market per Shop ID. SKU, EAN, Libellé and Typologie (the four columns whose absence rejects the whole import) are mapped, together with brand, description and the main image.
Paste the feed URL and pass validation
Copy the hosted feed URL into your merchant account; Fnac pulls it on the account's schedule, usually once every 24 hours. Imported products sit pending until Fnac Darty validates them. Offers can only attach to validated products.
Add the offers feed for the same market
Create the Fnac Offers feed for that market: the regular price, quantity, an optional discount price with its date window and the order preparation time, capped at 25 days. Sold-out variants stay in the file with quantity 0.

France's marketplace heavyweight
Fnac lists over 40 million products from more than 2,500 marketplace merchants and draws roughly 30 million visitors a month, with the bulk of sales in France. Its marketplace runs on Mirakl, the platform behind many European retail marketplaces.
Four markets, one file format
France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal all read the same two semicolon CSVs, and prices are euro everywhere. One Shop ID per market means one feed pair per market, and the same templates serve all four.
Paid out every five days
There is no commitment: you can cancel anytime. The monthly subscription is charged once you have sales, the commission runs 6–16 % by category, and payouts land every five days.
The feed
- A template pair per market: the products feed for content and the offers feed for price and stock, with euro pricing on all four markets
- Both files are Fnac's semicolon CSV with a header line, hosted on stable URLs the account pulls about once every 24 hours
- The whole-file-rejection set is mapped from the start: SKU, EAN, Libellé and Typologie, plus the brand, description and main image from the fill list
- Fnac wants the variation in the title (“nike shoe size 38”): a template on the Libellé column appends size and colour when your Shopify titles don't carry them
- The offers file sends the regular price plus a lower discount-price with start and end dates, stock clamped at zero, and the preparation time preset under Fnac's 25-day cap
- Sold-out variants stay in the offers file with quantity 0, because Fnac diff-applies imports and a dropped row would leave the last quantity live
- Both files share the same product selection, so no offer points at an EAN Fnac has not validated, and a readiness check flags empty mandatory columns before the feed ships
Deep dive
One Shop ID per market: content in two of them
- Four markets: France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal, euro everywhere
- Fnac allows only one market per Shop ID, so a second market means a second shop and a second feed pair
- Creating product content needs qualified-seller status and works on Fnac France and Fnac Belgium only
- On Fnac.es and Fnac.pt products go in through the account manager; Belgium wants content in French
ANDDutch
Technical details
Fnac's country model is one Shop ID per market, not one shop with several sales channels. You pick the market when you create the account (France, Belgium, Spain or Portugal), and a second market means a second shop with its own feed pair. Prices are euro on all four.
Content creation is gated twice. Only qualified sellers may create or update product content at all, and only on Fnac France and Fnac Belgium; on Fnac Spain and Fnac Portugal products are created from an Excel file via the account manager, and offers attach to the existing catalogue. Belgium is bilingual: content goes in French and Dutch, with separate columns for each.
The products file: four columns decide everything
SKU,EAN, Libellé (name) and Typologie (category): any of them missing or empty rejects theWHOLEfile- The fill list adds Constructeur vendeur (brand), Description complémentaire and Visuel principal (main image)
- Optional surface: up to four USPs (“Les plus du produit”) and secondary images
- Imported products sit pending until Fnac Darty validates them
Technical details
The products import has a hard rule: when any of SKU, EAN, Libellé or Typologie is missing or empty, Fnac rejects the entire file. One blank EAN fails every row, not just its own. The fill list adds the brand (Constructeur vendeur), the description (Description complémentaire) and the main image (Visuel principal), and the optional surface covers up to four selling points and secondary images.
The account generates a per-category Excel template (Imports → File template) whose Criteria tab documents each column's expected type. Treat it as the authority and reconcile the headers on the first import, then read the import History for the error report. Content belongs in the market's language, and Fnac wants size and colour variations in the title itself.
The offers file: EAN, a floor and a diff
- Offers attach to catalogue products by
EAN; an unknownEANfails withERR_026“Product not found” - Fnac diff-applies imports instead of overwriting: keep sold-out rows in at quantity 0
- price is the regular price in
EUR, floored at 0.89 €; discount-price carries the sale price - leadtime-to-ship is the order preparation time, capped at 25 days
Technical details
The offers file is Mirakl's standard OF01 table with Fnac's rules layered on. Offers attach to products by EAN, and the product must exist and be validated first: an offer for an EAN Fnac does not know fails with ERR_026 “Product not found”. price carries the regular price, the compare-at price while the variant is on sale, and Fnac does not publish products priced under 0.89 €.
Fnac does not take a full-overwrite import: it applies the diff against the last successful publication. A row that disappears keeps its last quantity live, so a sold-out variant belongs in the file with an explicit quantity 0. Deleting a row is what the update-delete column is for. The only delivery-shaped column is leadtime-to-ship, the days until the carrier gets the parcel, capped at 25; carriers and shipping fees are configured in the account.
The real gate is French
- Registration in your country's Trade Register and
VATcompliance are the baseline - After-sales service must be handled in French, whatever market you sell on
- Carrier mapping is mandatory; unlisted carriers map to “Other”
- Real promotions (Promo type, start, end) are set in the account; “sales” promos must fall inside the legal French sales periods
Technical details
The onboarding requirements go beyond paperwork. You register on the Fnac Darty marketplace portal with a Trade Register entry and VAT compliance, but the requirement that decides fit for most foreign merchants is after-sales service in French, and it applies whatever market you sell on.
Two operational details live outside the feed. Carrier mapping is mandatory on Fnac, with unlisted carriers falling back to “Other”, and orders carry a country-of-dispatch declaration at acceptance for VAT purposes. Promotions with a capital P (Promo type, start and end) are operator attributes configured in the account, and a “sales” promo must fall inside the legal French sales periods; the feed's discount columns are the plain date-bounded kind.
The takeaway
Two URLs per market (one for content, one for price and stock), regenerated every hour from templates that already speak Fnac's CSV. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth for both halves of every Fnac listing.
