Guenstiger.de feed for Shopify

Guenstiger reads an export file: comma- or semicolon-separated CSV, tab-separated TSV or pipe-separated values, one product per line with a header row. Feedflock renders it with semicolons, so the comma decimal the spec allows in prices can never collide with the column separator, and wraps every cell in the English double quotes that are the only quoting the spec accepts.

The file is handed over as a link at registration and Guenstiger keeps your offers current through regular synchronisations of it; how often is not published. Feedflock regenerates the file every hour on the same URL, so whenever the sync runs it reads prices and stock at most an hour old.

Guenstiger matches your offer to its catalog on the product name together with the manufacturer or brand name, helped by the MPN and the EAN. The brand goes in its own Hersteller column and must stay out of Produktname, because it is shown automatically at the start of the name, the exact opposite of Heureka, which wants the brand inside PRODUCTNAME. The MPN goes in without a brand prefix: “AN01-B”, not “ACME AN01-B”.

The spec is equally strict about wording: promotional phrases such as “Bestpreis”, “kostenlos”, “auf Lager”, “Rabatt” or “Garantie” do not belong in the product name, and a description is plain text without HTML or line breaks. Feedflock's default mapping strips both. The EAN accepts 8, 12 or 13 digits; the recommended name length is 75–135 characters.

Preis is the gross, VAT-inclusive price in euro, without any extra text. A dot or a comma both work as the decimal separator, but the style must be consistent between Preis and Standardversand, and “€ 49,99 + Versandkosten” or a “0 €” price are named as not allowed. Feedflock sends Shopify's dot-decimal price as is.

Shipping is a single amount in Standardversand, where “0” declares free shipping, which is why the template ships the column empty until you enter your real rate; a Liquid rule on the variant price can still express “free from 50 €”. Lieferzeit carries the delivery time in working days: “Lieferung in 1-3 Werktagen” passes, while vague terms like “versandfertig”, “voraussichtlich” or “Lagernd” are legally disallowed; the stock status has its own Lagerstatus column instead.

Beyond the three required columns, the spec marks a second tier as “required when available”. Pharmacy products carry the 8-digit PZN; energy-labelled goods (fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, lamps, TVs) carry the efficiency class A to G; goods sold by weight or volume carry the unit-price measure and base measure, or a pre-computed string like “64,30 € / 1 l”. Tyres get type, season and size in three separate columns.

Apparel listed through the Google PLA channel adds Farbe, Größe, Material, Geschlecht and Altersgruppe. Feedflock's template has every one of these columns defined and mapped from metafields or variant options, so a pharmacy, a tyre shop or a fashion store fills them the same way a generalist leaves them empty.
