Compari.ro feed for Shopify
Compari.ro is Romania's price comparison site, run by Online Comparison Shopping Kft. (the Heureka Group company behind Árukereső.hu and Pazaruvaj.com), and all three portals share one feed format with local habits: in stock is Delivery_Time 1, not 0, free delivery is the word gratuit, never a zero, and every product should carry two prices, gross and net. Feedflock builds the XML the group's specification describes, straight from your Shopify catalog, and hosts it on a stable URL the client centre downloads every day.

Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Register your shop on Compari.ro
Set up your shop in Compari.ro's client centre. That is where the feed URL goes and where your delivery fees and PPC balance live. A positive balance is required before any offer is shown.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Pick the Compari template
Create a new feed and choose the Compari.ro template. Identifier, manufacturer, name, URL, gross price and net price are mapped from the start: one product per variant, tied together by groupid.
Check your category paths
The feed carries your own category as a path separated by ">". Write descriptive Romanian paths, because Compari's content team places every category by hand and a clear path is placed fastest. Compari publishes no category sheet, so the path stays yours.
Paste the feed URL
Copy the hosted feed URL into the client centre as the "Link-ul către fişierul cu datele produselor". Compari downloads it every day after 17:00 and your offers go live the next day with a positive balance.

Catch feed issues before Compari does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.

The channel
Romania compares prices here
Compari.ro is the Romanian portal of the Árukereső group, run by the Heureka Group's Online Comparison Shopping Kft. One feed format serves the whole group: the same structure feeds Árukereső.hu in Hungary and Pazaruvaj.com in Bulgaria.
A bid per product, from the feed
Listing runs on PPC with a positive balance, and each product can carry its own MaxCPCMultiplier, a BIDx value that multiplies the category's base CPC for the products you want to push.
A content team pairs your offers
Every category is placed by hand and offers merge with identical ones on five values: category, manufacturer, name, productid and EAN. A well-formed feed is what gets you onto the right product card.
The feed
- A template written against the group's specification: a bare <products> root, one <product> per variant tied together by groupid, and the element spellings of the official sample feed: Delivery_Time, Delivery_Cost, EAN_code
- All mandatory fields mapped from the start: a stable identifier from the variant SKU, the name from product and variant title, and a URL that deep-links the variant
- net_price (recommended on the Romanian page, mandatory on the group's current one) derived automatically from your VAT rate: 21 % for Romania by default, your own Shopify rate when it differs
- Delivery_Time filled from Shopify availability: 1 when the variant sells (shown as In stoc), NO when it cannot be ordered, never the 0 a Heureka-shaped habit would write
- Delivery_Cost left to your client-centre fee table by default; when you set it, the template takes an amount or the word FREE / gratuit, never 0, never a range
- productid, Compari's own name for the manufacturer's product code, stays unmapped until you map a real manufacturer code. A shop SKU does not belong there, and a wrong pairing value costs 5–8 working days
- Fetch tracking shows when Compari last downloaded the feed and alerts you if it stops
Deep dive
How Compari reads your feed
- One
XMLorCSVfile on a publicURL, entered in the client centre - Downloaded daily after 17:00; offers go live the next day with a positive
PPCbalance - A new product takes 5–8 working days to categorise, listed meanwhile at the bottom of search, without an image
- Changing only the feed
URLloses nothing; the offers stay paired
Technical details
Compari pulls one file from a URL you host: XML or CSV, downloaded every day after 17:00, with changes visible the next day once your PPC balance is positive. There is no API and no upload: the URL is the whole integration.
New products take 5–8 working days: a content team places the category by hand and only then does the offer merge with identical ones. Until then it appears at the bottom of search, without an image. Feedflock regenerates the file on your schedule, as often as every hour, on a URL that does not change, and the group confirms that changing only the URL costs nothing.
Two prices, no currency symbol
- price is the gross consumer price incl. Romanian
VATand every other consumer tax, for the minimum orderable quantity - net_price excludes
VAT, recommended on Compari's page, mandatory on the group's current one - No currency symbol in either; the optional currency element carries
RON - A missing mandatory field makes the entire list unprocessable
Technical details
The Árukereső group is one of the few comparison sites that wants two prices in every product: price, the gross consumer price including Romanian VAT and any other tax the consumer pays, and net_price, the price without VAT. Compari's own page lists net_price as recommended, the group's current page as mandatory. The template requires it, because a feed missing a mandatory field is rejected whole, not partially.
The template maps the gross price from the variant price and derives the net price from the feed's tax settings: 21 % for Romania by default, your own Shopify tax rate when it differs, with overrides for reduced-rate collections. No currency symbol anywhere; the optional currency element carries RON.
Delivery time and cost, in Romanian
- Delivery_Time accepts only "2", "2 zile", "2 zile lucratoare" and "NO": a maximum, never a range
- 1 shows as In stoc (in stock)
- NO means not orderable: the offer is not shown at all; out of stock with no known date leaves the field empty
- Delivery_Cost is one nationwide price incl.
VAT("30", "30RON") or the wordFREE/ gratuit; 0 and ranges are named invalid
Technical details
Delivery_Time is the working days from order to the customer's door, as a single maximum, never a range. Valid formats are a bare number, the number with "zile" or "zile lucratoare", and NO. The display buckets are fixed: 1 shows as In stoc, 3 as "max 3 zile", 7 as one week, 14 as two. And unlike every Heureka-family feed, in stock here is 1, not 0. The template derives it from Shopify availability so the habit cannot slip through.
Delivery_Cost is one nationwide home-delivery price including VAT, the same regardless of weight or order value, or the word FREE, gratuit, gratis or fara cost. The group's format table names 0, ranges and "from" prices invalid, and parcel-locker or pickup-point prices may not go in the field at all. Leave it empty and the client centre's delivery fee table applies instead, which is why the template's default is empty.
Pairing rewards a stable feed
- Offers merge on five values: category, manufacturer, name, productid and
EAN - One changed character re-queues the offer for 5–8 working days
- The identifier must never change and never be reused for another product
- The category is your own path with ">" separators; aftermarket products must carry the word "compatibil" in the name or they are not processed
Technical details
Pairing is human-in-the-loop: the group's content team places every category by hand, and offers merge onto a product card by category, manufacturer, name, productid and EAN. The group's modification page is blunt about stability (every change counts as a modification, even a single character), and a changed pairing value drops the offer from the merged page until it is processed again.
The identifier is stricter still: never change it, never reuse it for a different product. The template keeps it on the variant SKU with the variant ID as fallback, both stable. And the category in the feed is your shop's own path, levels separated by ">". Compari publishes no tree to download, so a descriptive, unmistakable path is the fastest thing you can hand their content team.
The takeaway
One URL, a daily download and an XML structure that follows the group's specification element for element: two prices, honest delivery times in Romanian and a stable identifier. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth, and Compari.ro sees a feed it can pair.
