Mixed categories: AI shows where your products go

When one product type holds different kinds of products, Map with AI no longer gives up or picks a category that fits only a few of them. It shows how the products split, for example Tea 40%, Teapots 27%, Mugs 13%, and you choose with one click.

Some values in a store are not one kind of product. A product type called Gifts can hold tea, teapots, mugs and chocolate. Map with AI used to leave such a row with "AI couldn't decide", or picked the category of the products it happened to see first.

Now the AI looks at the value's products one by one, up to 20 of them spread across the whole value, and places each in the marketplace's category tree. The row shows the result as a bar and one chip per category with its share of the products: Tea 40%, Teapots 27%, Mugs 13%.

One click on a chip puts the whole value in that category. The row keeps the AI mark in its check-it colour and says how many of the products belong there, so you know the rest needs an exception or a different source. Clear the category and the split is back.

A pick on a mixed value now has to hold for most of its products. If fewer than 60% of them belong in the category the AI would choose, it leaves the decision to you and shows the split instead.

Like the rest of Map for me, it is part of every plan.
