Biano: JPEG images and delivery time from stock

Biano checked our feeds and both passed. Its tips are now built in: images go out as JPEG, the delivery time follows your stock, and measurement metafields read “160 cm”.

Biano's team reviewed the two sample feeds we built for them. Every product imported without an error, the categories matched Biano's tree and the delivery, manufacturer and extra photos all loaded. They also sent a few tips, and new Biano feeds now follow them.

Images go out as JPEG. Biano recommends JPEG, while Shopify keeps photos in the format you uploaded, often PNG or WebP. The new Image → JPEG change asks the Shopify CDN for a JPEG copy of each photo, which is usually much smaller too. It is on by default in the Biano template and you can add it to any image field of any feed under Clean up.

The delivery time follows your stock. Only DELIVERY_DATE 0 earns Biano's Skladem label, and it now goes only to variants you have on hand. A variant you sell on backorder gets 14 days, which you can change to your real delivery time.

Measurement metafields read the way people write them. A width stored in Shopify as a dimension metafield now goes out as “160 cm”, which is the exact form Biano's dimension filters expect (šířka, výška, délka, hloubka, průměr). Biano also confirmed that it does not need a separate sale price: it works out discounts from its own price history, so your current price is all it needs.
