Favi feed for Shopify
Favi is a furniture and home marketplace running in twelve European countries, where shoppers search and compare pieces for their homes. Feedflock turns your Shopify catalog into a Favi-ready XML feed in the Heureka format Favi documents and regenerates it every hour, so prices, delivery times and photos on Favi match your store.

Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Register with Favi
Apply for a shop account on Favi for the country you sell in. Registration is per country, and campaign settings live in your Favi shop overview.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Pick the Favi template and market
Create a new feed, choose the Favi template and the country. All eight required elements, from ITEM_ID to DELIVERY_DATE, are mapped in the Heureka spelling Favi documents, one item per variant.
Set your category paths
Give every product type or collection a full path in Favi's form, such as Ložnice > Postele > Manželské postele. A product without a category never enters the Favi catalogue, so the generation report flags every item still missing one.
Paste the feed URL
Copy the hosted feed URL into your Favi shop overview. Favi re-reads it three times a day; Feedflock regenerates it every hour, so each read gets current data.

Catch feed issues before Favi does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.

A catalogue built for homes
Favi is a furniture and home marketplace whose catalogue is organised by room (Ložnice, Dětský pokoj) and whose filters run on material, colour, style and dimensions. Products with rich parameters surface in more filtered searches.
Twelve countries, one format
Favi runs the same feed format in all twelve of its countries. Once your Czech feed works, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Italy or the UK is a new registration and a second feed, with prices, language and category paths for that market.
Quality you can influence
Favi scores products on the data you send: delivery options with prices raise the score, only home delivery counts towards it, and three or more parameters unlock the parameter table on the product page. The feed is where that score is won.
The feed
- The Favi template maps all eight required elements and reports every product still missing the CATEGORYTEXT without which Favi never lists it
- One SHOPITEM per variant with its own ?variant= URL, because Favi asks for a unique URL for every variant
- Parameter hints for Výška, Šířka, Hloubka and Délka as separate PARAMs, plus Styl and Specifikace. Set český výrobek and the offer gets a Czech flag
- Up to twenty gallery images in IMGURL_ALTERNATIVE by default, Favi's own limit
- Delivery blocks with your carrier prices, including Favi's VLASTNI_PREPRAVA code for your own vans. A price of 0 earns the free-shipping label
- Twelve Favi markets in the template, each with its own currency and language
Deep dive
How the Favi XML feed works
- Favi reads feeds written to one of six established specifications; this template sends the Heureka format
- Bare
SHOProot, oneSHOPITEMper variant,UTF-8; mixing two specifications in one file is not allowed - Favi re-reads the feed three times a day; it must be a public https
URLthat never answers 403 - Two items sharing an
ITEM_IDmake Favi skip the whole update, so identifiers must be unique and never change
Technical details
Favi publishes no element list of its own. It reads feeds written to one of six established specifications and documents each element in all six spellings. This template sends the Heureka format: a bare SHOP root, one SHOPITEM per variant, UTF-8. Mixing two specifications in one file is not allowed. Favi re-reads the feed three times a day from a public https URL; Feedflock regenerates it every hour on a stable one.
One rule deserves attention: two items sharing an ITEM_ID make Favi treat the whole feed as faulty and skip the update entirely. The template uses your variant SKU, so make sure SKUs are unique (or map ITEM_ID to the Shopify variant ID), and never change identifiers afterwards, or the product loses its history and position.
The eight required elements
- Mandatory:
ITEM_ID,PRODUCTNAME,DESCRIPTION,CATEGORYTEXT,PRICE_VAT,URL,IMGURLandDELIVERY_DATE - Highly recommended:
ITEMGROUP_ID,IMGURL_ALTERNATIVE,PARAM,DELIVERY,EANandMANUFACTURER PRODUCTNAMEmust say what the thing is (dětské povlečení, not povlečení) and never carry skladem, akce or doprava zdarmaDELIVERY_DATEis one number of days to dispatch, never a range
Technical details
Favi marks eight elements as mandatory: ITEM_ID, PRODUCTNAME, DESCRIPTION, CATEGORYTEXT, PRICE_VAT, URL, IMGURL and DELIVERY_DATE. Highly recommended are ITEMGROUP_ID, IMGURL_ALTERNATIVE, PARAM, DELIVERY, EAN and MANUFACTURER. The EAN must be a real GTIN of 8, 12, 13 or 14 digits, never an internal code.
PRODUCTNAME is the main signal Favi categorises on, so it must say what the thing is (dětské povlečení, not povlečení) with no shop name or sales words; the template combines product and variant title. DELIVERY_DATE is one number of days from payment to dispatch: 0–3 shows skladem, 4–21 do X dnů, 22–30 do měsíce and 31 or more na objednání.
CATEGORYTEXT decides whether you exist
- A product without a category never enters the Favi catalogue
- Send the complete, specific path, written with the greater-than sign: Ložnice > Postele > Manželské postele
- Blanket categories like slevy, výprodej or akce are rejected
- Changing a category takes the product off until the new one is approved
Technical details
Favi's rule is absolute: a product without a category never enters the catalogue. The path must be complete and as specific as possible, written with the greater-than sign (Ložnice > Postele > Manželské postele), either from Favi's own tree or your own, if it is detailed enough. Blanket categories like slevy, výprodej or akce are rejected.
Favi's category trees are only published on its own sites, so in Feedflock you set the path once per product type or collection, in Favi's form, and the generation report lists every product still without one. Change a category deliberately: the product waits for the new one to be approved before it returns.
Parameters, images and delivery that score
- Dimensions go as separate
PARAMs with units (Výška, Šířka, Hloubka, Délka); a combined 160x200 cm is not read - Specifikace = český výrobek adds a Czech flag to the offer
- Images: real photos,
PNG,JPEG,TIFor WebP, at least 600 × 600 px, https, no text or watermarks, up to twenty in the gallery - Only home delivery counts towards the quality score; one option priced at 0 earns the free-shipping label
Technical details
Dimensions must go as separate PARAMs, each with its unit: Výška, Šířka, Hloubka, Délka. A combined 160x200 cm is not read into the dimension filters, and yes/no values work where 0/1 do not. A PARAM named Specifikace with the value český výrobek puts a Czech flag on the offer.
Images must be real photographs (not renders, sketches or AI images) in PNG, JPEG, TIF or WebP, at least 600 × 600 px over https, with no added text, logos or watermarks; up to twenty more go in the gallery. Favi downloads an image again only when its URL changes, and Shopify's image URLs change only when the image does. For delivery, only home delivery counts towards the quality score, and one valid option priced at 0 earns the free-shipping label.
The takeaway
One URL, an hourly refresh and a template that already speaks the Heureka XML Favi reads, full paths, split dimensions and home delivery prices included. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth for every Favi country you sell in.
