Godpris.no feed for Shopify
Godpris.no is a Norwegian price comparison site: it lists your products next to your competitors' and bills per click, and it says itself that it prefers a Google Shopping feed. Feedflock turns your Shopify catalog into exactly that file: one item per variant, the five required fields mapped, the GTIN and MPN pairing keys filled, hosted on a stable URL Godpris can fetch as often as every 30 minutes.

Your product types. The channel's categories.
The channel files offers under its own category tree. Feedflock suggests a category for each Shopify product type and you just confirm. One mapping covers every product of that type, including products you add later.
Catch feed issues before Godpris.no does.
Before every generation Feedflock checks that every field the channel requires is filled, and, on templates verified against the channel's own spec, that the values fit its rules. Most problems are fixed with one click, without editing products in Shopify.
Setup
Live in five steps
From a bare Shopify store to a listed offer: the whole setup fits into one coffee break.
Get in touch with Godpris
There is no self-serve signup: fill in the form on godpris.no/om/bli-med (organisation number, shop name, contact) and Godpris makes contact. No setup fee, no lock-in, no fixed costs. You hand over the feed URL in that conversation.
Install Feedflock
Add Feedflock from the Shopify App Store. It reads your products, variants, stock and images directly through the Shopify API.
Pick the Godpris template
Create a new feed and choose Godpris. The output is the Google Shopping RSS 2.0 body Godpris says it prefers, and all five required fields are mapped from the start: g:id from the SKU, g:title with the manufacturer first, g:link, g:image_link and g:price in NOK.
Fill the pairing keys
Godpris matches your offers against its own product database, primarily by GTIN and then MPN. Check that barcodes sit in the Shopify barcode field and map an MPN only if it is genuinely the manufacturer's number; your own SKU is not one.
Hand over the feed URL
Send Godpris the hosted feed URL. Godpris can refresh price and product data as often as every 30 minutes and expects the file to keep up; Feedflock regenerates it every hour on the same address.

Norway, and only Norway
Godpris.no serves one country, one currency and one language. Every visitor is a Norwegian shopper comparing prices, an audience a shop that ships to Norway cannot reach anywhere else in this form.
You pay for clicks, nothing else
No setup fee, no lock-in, no fixed costs: Godpris states it plainly. The click costs 1.89–9.89 NOK excl. VAT depending on the category your product is filed under.
A partner portal, not a black box
Once you are in, the partner portal shows statistics on categories, products, market shares and competitors: the numbers behind every crown you spend per click.
The feed
- The Google Shopping RSS 2.0 body Godpris says it prefers: every attribute g:-prefixed, one item per sellable variant
- All five starred fields mapped from the start: g:id from the SKU with the variant ID as fallback, g:title, g:link, g:image_link and g:price
- The title carries the vendor by default, as Godpris's “Produsent og produktnavn” asks, and each size and colour is its own row, as “egne varelinjer” requires
- The pairing keys filled: g:gtin from the Shopify barcode and g:mpn, the two fields Godpris uses to match your offer to its product database
- One price, the amount you charge: Godpris documents a single price field with no strikethrough, so the template sends no g:sale_price
- Shipping as the nested g:shipping block: one cheapest delivered option in NOK, warehouse and depot collection excluded, exactly as Godpris defines shipping_cost
- Sold-out variants stay in the feed marked out_of_stock (a value Godpris publishes itself), and descriptions are capped at Godpris's own 2,000 characters, not Google's 5,000
Deep dive
How the Godpris feed works
- One hosted
URLthat Godpris fetches on its own schedule: no upload, noSFTP - Godpris can refresh price and product data as often as every 30 minutes
- Google Shopping feed preferred;
CSV,JSONand otherXMLformats are also read - Feedflock regenerates the file every hour on a stable
URL
Technical details
Godpris's model is a hosted URL it polls: once it has your feed address, it fetches the product data automatically, as often as every 30 minutes, and shops that change prices often or run time-limited campaigns are expected to regenerate the file at a matching rate. A Google Shopping feed is the preferred format, but CSV, JSON and other standardized XML are also accepted.
Feedflock hosts the file on a stable URL and regenerates it every hour, so every fetch reads prices and stock at most an hour old. You hand the URL over once, in the onboarding conversation; there is nothing to upload again.
Five required fields, Google's names
- Only title, price, url, image_url and sku carry the star in Godpris's field table
- They map onto g:title, g:price, g:link, g:image_link and g:id, the mapping Godpris's own “we prefer Google Shopping feed” invites
- description and availability are optional, but the description is capped at 2,000 characters, Godpris's own limit
- Extra fields are harmless: anything Godpris does not know it simply ignores
Technical details
Godpris publishes its field table with a star on the required rows, and exactly five rows carry it: title, price, url, image_url and sku. Because Godpris says it prefers a Google Shopping feed, the template speaks Google's names: g:title, g:price, g:link, g:image_link and g:id. Notably not required: description, availability, brand, GTIN and condition.
Optional does not mean pointless: Godpris says plainly that the more relevant information the feed carries, the better products can be presented and matched. One number is Godpris's own, though: the description is capped at 2,000 characters where Google allows 5,000, and the template declares the stricter limit. And the field order is free, unknown fields included: Godpris states they do not affect the import.
Pairing runs on GTIN and MPN
- gtin is the primary key, mpn the second. Both exist to tie your offer to a product in Godpris's database
- The title is supposed to carry the manufacturer, so the default name starts with the vendor
- Every size and colour is its own row (“egne varelinjer”) with size, colour and gender as separate fields
- The category is your shop's own name; Godpris files the offer itself, and its
CPCrate follows that filing
Technical details
Godpris matches your offer against its own product database, and it says which fields do it: GTIN first, the manufacturer's part number second. Neither is required (an offer without them still loads), but they decide whether your price lands on the right product page next to your competitors. Shopify's barcode field is free text, so send a real EAN and map an MPN only when it genuinely is the manufacturer's number.
The title helps too: Godpris asks for manufacturer and product name, so the default title starts with the vendor. Variants come as separate rows, as Godpris asks explicitly, each carrying its own size, colour and gender. Godpris's own rules add three title details worth knowing: games carry the platform, non-original goods like compatible ink are marked “uoriginal” or “erstatter”, and demo, returned and used goods go out with condition used.
One price, the cheapest shipping
- Godpris documents
ONEprice field (the amount you charge, inNOK, preferably incl.VAT) and no strikethrough - The template therefore sends no g:sale_price at all
- shipping_cost is the cheapest parcel option: pickup point, local shop, door or mailbox
- Warehouse and depot collection does not count, and the amount is in
NOK
Technical details
A comparison site that prints a price the shop does not charge is the one failure that matters, and Godpris's table has exactly one price row: the amount you charge, in NOK, preferably VAT-inclusive. There is no second price and no strikethrough element, so the template emits variant.price and nothing else: no g:sale_price, no compare-at convention.
Shipping is equally concrete: one number, the cost of the cheapest parcel option delivered to a pickup point, a local shop, the door or the mailbox; warehouse and depot collection explicitly does not count. In the Google body that value rides in a nested g:shipping block with country NO and the price in NOK, which is what the template renders from your delivery settings.
The takeaway
One URL, the Google vocabulary Godpris asks for by name, and a file that regenerates every hour. Your Shopify catalog stays the single source of truth, and Godpris always compares the price you actually charge.
